I think, comparatively, mr chiam is Mr. Nice. but then, I guess most of the hc phy tutors are easy-going, and -funny-.
One generalisation that could be made is: if you are into physics, you would be eccentric to some extent. lol..
on the other hand, I really wonder how ppl like mrs tam could exist on this planet. kaoz, she's got to be the nicest teacher i've ever met. haha..
after 1.45 years in hc make me realise sth, it's damn hard to be a teacher- i mean a true teacher.
Patience, good temper, humour, etc.. are all essential. But personally, i dun think any teacher could be a true teacher without sufficient knowledge. But that doesnt mean they have to know all the stuffs.
for instance, some of the very basic stuffs that mr chiam told us could not be found from Halliday nor other texts. well, maybe he has more advanced texts. whatever it is, some of his insights really make him a good phy teacher.
ha teo me too! I wonder if it is the uni education that allows these teachers to gain so much insights into the basic principles of science.
